I PASSED!!!

Woohoo, I passed! I am so excited. I really didn't think I passed. The way the questions are worded was confusing and I really thought I bombed it. Then I came home and checked this test book and it had the same exact questions, word for word! I didn't even open that book beforehand or I would have been in a much better position! I told my mom and sister to make sure they study it because it will make a huge difference! www.150pass.com if you're interested. We bought it the weekend of our crash course from David Wick. Instead of studying the book, I made flash cards and watched my Video Excellence flash review. I had a lot of info in my head, and I felt like I really knew my stuff! Just the way those questions were worded I felt like I didn't know anything and left the test feeling not very smart at all ; ) But I guess I am pretty smart afterall...heehee

Now, time to start interviewing and find the right office to work for....

Crash Course Weekend!

So this weekend my mom and I attended a crash course from Prudential given by Dave Wick. He was entertaining and very informative! He made me lol on several occasions. The funny thing is I remember a lot of it! I'm going to study all week and watch this video flash review and hopefully on Friday I will be ready! I'm still taking practice tests every night this week and making flash cards too. I'm probably over doing it but I do NOT want to take it again : ) I didn't know I could apply for my license before I pass the exam but I can so I am sending that off Monday. Don't want to waste anytime, just want my license asap so I can start to work! : )

Finally Doing It!

Okay so I'm finally going to take my real estate salesperson exam next Friday. I should be nervous but so far I'm not, I'm more anxious! Anxious to take the test, ace it, apply for my license, receive it, get hired by a well known, top performing agency, excellent training, no desk fees and a high commission split and start kicking some hineys! I want to sell, sell, sell! Its not a sellers market right now, but it is a buyers market! Hopefully I can help a lot of nice family's get that home they've been dreaming of! And help some investors get great deals for when the market turns, and it will turn! We are actually looking for a steal ourselves to hold on to and rent out until things turn around.

I finished the first book I've read cover to cover in a LONG time last week. It was called, "Activate YOUR Passion, Create YOUR Career" by Madison Hildebrand (Million Dollar Listing on Bravo). It was so inspirational and such a great book! He even included a great marketing plan to help you get started and a template to create your own business plan because being in real estate sales is like having your own business. I am following his advice and the word "failure" I will refuse to define therefore I cannot! I have passion, to be succesful so I can stay home and raise our daughter without working a traditional job. The beautiful thing is I don't "need" this income, I WANT this. I think that will help fuel my passion and help me to succeed!
